Our eco hero card features Chico Mendes, who gave his life to defend the rainforests. You’ll find a postcard to help you start a ‘meat free Monday’ campaign and a quiz to test your rainforest knowledge, a pledge card and 20 amazing rainforest facts to wow your friends. You’ll also find plenty ideas to get you outside in nature, enjoying the trees where you live. There’s 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a rainfoest expert immediately!
Activities include making your own rainforest in a bottle, crafting a rainmaker, creating a peg cloth and making your own sustainable plant pots.
There’s also a little something for grown-ups inside to help you understand rainforests in 60 seconds, as well as a useful glossary.
