Here’s what’s inside:

Follow our top tips to grow your own kitchen garden, whatever space you have. We’ll go on a food journey and see how far your favourite food travels, our recipe uses up our kitchen leftovers to bake crostini crust pizzas and whizz your own smoothies and our eco hero card features an entrepreneur on a mission to save wonky fruit and veg. Our I Spy card gives you loads of ideas of little foody changes you can make to help our environment, plus you’ll find a postcard to help you start a campaign to stop food waste and a plant power card to show you how to re-grow vegetables from stumps, scraps and peel. There’s also a quiz to test your green food knowledge, a pledge card and 20 foody facts facts to wow your friends. There’s also 2 activity cards packed with eight fun puzzles so you can start becoming a food warrior immediately!

Activities include raiding the recycling box to make a selection of plant labels, crafting your own orangutan puppet, instructions for building your own composter (big or small) and an amazing science experiment to show you what happens to our food waste!

There’s also a little something for grown-ups inside to help you answer any foody questions as well as a useful glossary.

Bonus online content: Once your little eco hero has completed the activities, they can download a certificate to show their friends that they are a real GREEN FOOD expert! (QR code included in box)
